There are hundreds of makeup brushes available on the market, but for someone who just needs to put on makeup every day or sometimes for a dinner or party doesn’t need so many brushes, so it’s only going to get even more confusing. We consider 8 kinds of basic brushes that are really needed and indispensable.
There are many women who do not realize the purpose of paintbrushes, because I always have to do everything with your hands, but as in everything, it ain’t no use to have the best raw material if we don’t have good tools to use.
It is important to realize that there are no fixed rules in make-up, each uses different techniques and there is no better than another, it’s all about adapting to each person to these techniques. However, as regards the brushes we then facilitate and show the basic kit that every woman should have.
Generalizing, there are three main types of brushes intended for application of the base:
Conventional Base brush Duo Fiber and Kabukis.
Each of these has variations of format, size and texture, as well as result in different effects and have different indications. It is not necessary to have the three, only one of them can satisfy their needs very well. However, the choice will depend on more of the base type that you use and the desired coverage than the brush itself.
The characteristics mentioned, the basic conventional brushes result in a heavierand less natural finish makeup.
However, your flat format allows us to reach easily the hard-to-reach areas of the face, such as around the eyes and nostrils.
The basic Kabukis (there are also dust and Kabukis correction) are indicated for application of liquid bases your rounded shape allows the application in circular motions and their dense bristles “carry“ enough product, promoting high-average coverage, homogeneous and with natural finish to there air brush. This type of brush requires take hand in order not to apply more products than is necessary and/or desired.
Between the brushes, the Duo Fiber is the most versatile, it can be used for applying various textures (creamy and even liquid powder) promoting excellent results.
The Duo Fiber can be found in several sizes, the smaller it is more accurate will be your application.
Synthetic bristle brush, flat, in the form of “cat language“ and small size, like a mini version of the basic brush and skinny. Effective application of liquid and creamy brokers, ideal for covering small patches (such as acne marks) and to depositthe product on the dark circles.
3–brush to Dust
The brush for the application of powder, is compact, loose, translucent or with color, must be:
Big, full, rounded shaped and composed of natural bristles, which will not scratch the base previously applied. Several other types of brushes, with different sizes and formats, can also be used for application of powder. However, a brush with the characteristics mentioned above will run efficiently this step of makeup with virtually all types of powders. Never forget to remove excess brush powder with light knocks before you apply it on your face.
4–brush for Blush, Bronzer and illuminator.
In order to use a single brush to satisfy the application of three products, it should look like with the powder brush, but with a smaller format, longer and less dense bristles.
Ideal for depositing the shadows on the eyelids. Should be small, made with natural bristle and flat format. As the firmer bristles, the greater the precision, the potential of construction and the intensification of pigments in hair and makeup. Therefore, avoid brushes for shadows that are too cute unless your intent is to only give a slight touch of color to the eye.
6–brush for Blending
Small, composed of natural bristles with rounded shape and fatter. Ideal for branding the concave and blending colors. Unlike the brush to apply shadows, blending brush should be soft, feature that will make it possible to your function: up in smoke.
7–brush to Outline
This brush is multifunctional, serves to circumvent the eyes in the upper and lower eyelids, delineate the water line, fill in eyebrows and applying gel eyeliners. This should be small, thin, with firm bristles and top with diagonal cut.
8–brush for Lips
A lot of people forget this brush, but trust me: when we learn to use it becomes indispensable, especially for darker colors or more colorful. In addition to achieve greater precision in the application will make the lipstick last longer.
